Man Utd Newton Heath Shirt
Currently the classic green and yellow jersey of Newton Heath is being worn by the anti-glazer fration of Manchester United fans. Endorsed by David Beckham during Manchester United’s victory over AC Milan in the Champions League in March 2010, the Newton Heath colours look as though they may play a significant part in Manchester United’s history again. Founded as Newton Heath LYR FC in 1878, as part of the Lanchashire and Yorkshire Railway depot (LYR) in Newton Heath itself. Moving to Old Trafford in 1902, the club then became Manchester United. But it is the supporters remembering the clubs roots that has lead to the colours of green and yellow returning the terraces recently. We’ve stock the original kits below, all in their original styles.
